Did I tell
you about visiting Noni's grandmother's family in San Piero Patti (where she
was born and raised?). It is one of the most beautiful little towns in Sicily
(and we traveled all over that island.) I sent pictures of 3 members of the
family who invited us to their house to all my family. I don't know how to
transfer photos to you, but maybe you can Tony? If not, I will send you a
copy. I also have an email address for one of their sons. Yes, I definitley
agree that "Frandino" was Frandina, since we looked in the telephone
books in the towns where Carl and Noni
came from, (as well as few in Italy) and could only find FrandinA's. By the
way, I think Carmella is a sister of Noni's, and I think the little girl in
the (Carl/Noni) photo is Marlene. That's what I heard. Check with Aunt Kate.
